Oh gals.
I had SO much fun in LA and I shopped ’till I dropped. In an effort NOT to overwhelm you, I’ll send some of my findings slowly, ok?
As we head into Spring (I mean….kinda?) and you have something specific you want to see, PLEASE email me! I’d love to hear. You know I LOVE sales, so I’m still looking there and of course my mind is dreaming of Spring, so I’m there too 🙂

Ok, let’s talk about Veronica Beard for a moment. I was shopping with a friend/client and we could not get ENOUGH of everything in there. They had some great sale items and Spring was just starting to come in. Let me say that the Carly jeans are AWESOME. With NINE COLOR CHOICES, you really will find something you like. You know what? They’re high enough but not TOO high and the length is just right. NOW, if you are on the shorter side, you may have to get them hemmed. They should hit just above the beautiful Audrey Hepburn ankles that you have 🙂 Ok, and the two shirts are amazing. The baseball T is SUPER popular and the floral one is owned by TWO people I know and it only just came out – that says something. I LOVE the clog situation and of course I’m always looking for a great beige slide. RUN!
“Now I’ve told you once, and I’ve told you twice, you gonna light it up, like it’s dynamite!” in these jeans. (Get it? Those are lyrics in a song) These jeans are the BEST – in EITHER color! There, I said it. TRUST PLEASE.
Well now, we all know the dresses by VB are great – they always are. I’m trying to go shorter these days (that’s for a WHOLE other post) but I can’t help but love the slim flow of the Paisley Dress. Love it with the dark brown woven wedge. The colors in the shorty on the right are AWESOME and I’m going for these gold sandals for SURE.
A little more Veronica Beard for you :). I’ve spoken of the Beverly Jeans (white here) before and I’ll tell you again. For a NIGHTTIME jean, these are great. They make you look just a LITTLE more dressed up than a regular ole pair of jeans. So, I’m telling you to give ‘em a try and if you need to hem then, then that’s AOK! These sweaters in black and cream are SUPER popular every year. You may think, “Oh, they’re kinda see through.” If they are, put on a little tank…..otherwise just GO FOR IT! Flattering with a higher waisted pant, like the Beverly I tell you ;). I LOVE these earrings and of course the necklace that I already posted ;). What about each of these sandals? The black pair is SO cool and I even have a matching bracelet (thanks to a BFF) to with them! As for the cork pair….what’s not to like?? OH – the cat eye sunglasses – YES!
Ok, two white (cream?) dresses – one kinda casual and the other seemingly a little more “dressy”. I say either, but I’d be wearing the pink sandals with the dress on the right (oops – photo accident) and the tan flatter sandals with the dress on the left 🙂
Yeah…well….everyone in LA is wearing these sweaters by The Elder Statesman. They’re SUPER cool, but like the one of the left…..they are PRICEY! So pricey in fact, that one of the BFF’s said she was going to knit her own ;0 LOLOL. I think the one on the right by Lily Pulitzer is just as cute 🙂
Now, pricey Zimmerman is just that – PRICEY. But, I can vouch for the quality, because last year, I got one similar to the one of the right on BIG SALE. The thing is that the colors and the styles are just so beautiful. You’d feel like a beautiful garden on the beach :). They flatter – I will say that too. BTW – I’m so into the shape of these sunglasses. The red are so much fun and the blue and tortoise are instant face lifts :). PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – Old Navy makes some suits that aren’t as QUALITY, but look kinda nice!
I know what you are thinking…….why in the WORLD am I posting this random shoe. Yeah, I know. Here’s the thing. I am ALWAYS looking for the perfect “nude”, “tan”, “beige” heel because I KNOW they make my legs look longer and slimmer. I randomly tried these on in the Theory store in LA. Let me tell you – these babies are WAY WAY better than my Jimmy Choo’s and my Manolo’s (sold those – they didn’t look great). The weird asymmetrical line looks SO strange in the photo AND in person, but I’m telling you – comfortable and flattering. I think they may run a 1/2 size small, (so they’re sold out of my size), but I’m checking back daily to see if it comes back in stock. Am I wearing them everyday? HELL NO. BUT, I am counting on these as my lifetime favorites.
Last one for today….this AMAZING hoodie. It’s got a puff sleeve….but not TOO puffy. It’s just a great way to be wearing a casual hoodie – but a FEMININE hoodie. Genius.
