Anyhoo, I had to go to Dick’s Sporting Goods the other day in the world’s worst mall. It’s actually so sad. There is never anyone shopping in this mall and there are very few great stores….even Nordstrom just closed. Sigh…

Have you ever heard of Dillard’s Department store? Welllll, you may not have ever heard of it depending on where you live. It’s not the best department store you’ve ever seen :), but it does have some big brands that you may normally shop for at Nordy’s or Bloomies.

I found it because when the girls were in middle school, I could NOT find nice, appropriate dresses for them. I fell upon the children’s department and I couldn’t believe the design and quality of the kids clothes. It’s weird, but those clothes were better than ANYTHING out there I could find.

Ok, anyway, I went to the weird mall and I decided to scope out any possible graduation dresses for my girls and for a friend. Let’s just say, there was absolutely NOTHING. In fact, the small white dresses were the WORST quality I have ever seen. BUT, in the women’s department, there were actually some pretty cute dresses! I couldn’t believe it!?!?! The photos do NOT do these dresses (nor the shoes) justice, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. They’re great, affordable knock-offs of the brands we all know and love. 🙂

Trust the Mother….you’ll be glad you did!
