People always ask me what can they wear in the daytime OTHER than jeans. It’s a good question particularly when you are talking to a TOTAL jean person.
I’ve always seen these pants by Paige, but I have never actually tried them. So in the spirit of “different” I decided to go for it and I’m glad I did. The Mayslie pant is the ABSOLUTE best with sneakers or booties or even sandals in the spring. I’m in LOVE with my navy pair. I also tried the leopard….and believe me, they are still on the list 😉

Ok, how about this t-shirt? (Would be cute with this one too) Too bad it doesn’t also say, “Trust the…” – ha! Got this from a BFF as a gift and I LOVE it with my new Paige Mayslie pants. Wearing my FAV sneakers that are STILL AVAILABLE. They’re kinda flat, so add an insole for comfort if you must (coming from high-arches girl).
Public Service Announcement: size down in the pants! They’ll feel tight at first, but they STRETCH!
See what I’m saying? These Mayslie pants in cheeetah are the BOMB! I love them with this great pop of red sweater, slip on Golden Gooses and the perfect light bag. How about the cool rolling ring and those adorable earrings? LOVE.
Ok, well here’s a cute alternative to jeans and an update on the classic Juicy velour sweatsuit! Nili Lotan’s velour 1/4 zip and full zip are awesome with the jogger (or here) or the straight leg. YES!
Yeah, well, saw this sweater in the flesh and it’s to die for. VERY throwback look from the 70’s. Now, I want the matching skirt too…but it’s sold out, of course 🙁
Ok, well back to a cute jeans look. I saw this Victoria Beckham (bargain hunters look the other way!) red jacket in Neiman’s last week and I almost had a coronary. It is BEYOND if you have the budget 🙂 It doesn’t look like much here, but oooohhhh. My new FAV Mother Jeans and loving these Free People Booties with a sherpa fanny pack :). What about a pom-pom sweater?
Not exactly an alternative to jeans – hahahaha. But, I am in LOVE with this dress and I think it would be the perfect thing to wear to NYC this week…..except I didn’t buy it and I wish I had. How SLIMMING are these lines??
