I’m watching. I’m really watching, The Crown. I can’t help but pay more attention to this season because it feels so real to me! Unlike the other seasons, I was alive during this time and there is so much of it that I remember!
I remember the engagement photo….the WEDDING….the post-divorce period – all of it! Diana had SO much style and she was a real 80’s icon.
I’m not going to sit here and try to match all of her style choices because in reality, as great as they were, they don’t totally translate to today. Remember, 80’s mom jeans only look great on the 6ft model :).
I did however, find her AMAZING aztec sweater and. her BLACK SHEEP sweater! They’re for sale with a heafty price tag! Those are for the TRUE Diana fan.
The latest Kate Middleton photo in the red blazer….beyond beautiful. And, just for shoots and giggles, I put in the iconic Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy photo of when she was first photographed with JFK Jr. Not that she was royalty, because she absolutely was not, but there was something about her….
Trust the Mother…you’ll be glad you did.
