Well, yes, we did celebrate a birthday yesterday. By the looks of the picture, you would think it was Bo’s b-day….but no….it was lucky #17 for Paige and Libby. Where has the time gone!?!? Sigh……
Thought I’d share yesterday’s outfit because I must admit, it was pretty cute and fitting for a warm Colorado day (58 degrees an blue skies. Sorry midwesterners!)
I mentioned this striped shirt in a post last week. Mine arrived and it is SO cute. I know this is one thing I’ll wear ALL YEAR ROUND. Love the neckline. Check it out!
The sneakers…..throwing it out there that I got mine at the 70% off sale at Elyse Walker when I was in LA. They’re not on sale on her site because it’s separate from the store….which seems weird. Anyway, I’d get them at Bloomingdale’s because they have all sizes available. They’re a bit of statement for me, I gotta say. My daughters LOVE the big-sneaker-look. Me? Not usually – but I do love these 🙂
Another LA purchase ( I guess I bought my own gifts this year 🙂 ) are these pure black skinny (but not TOO skinny) jeans. They are ankle length and don’t suck me in like a snausage. I can’t STAND to be stuffed into skinny jeans. GROSS. Especially after the holiday season – even MORE GROSS. Check ’em out on Shopbop or for my LA pals, call my DOORBELL (that’s my lingo for adorable) niece, Tory Berner. She works at Capitol (great selection of unique pieces) in Brentwood. Toto (the family pet name for her) has a great eye. BTW, I’ve also had great luck in the past with H&M and ZARA. Me likey these prices 🙂
Fur….y’all know I love fur! (I LOVE the word “y’all”. I think I’ll start using it in my everyday speak 🙂 ) . I’ve had this Mary McFadden Mink Vest for a LIFETIME. Ok, maybe not a LIFETIME, but I’ve had it for a long time and it is my go-to. I can’t find the same one, but I did find a few good ones; HERE, HERE, HERE , HERE.and HERE.
Lastly, and my FAV find of the year, is this HANDBAG!!! I told y’all (there I go again) about it before, but I didn’t share this color. I’m OBSESSED. It’s good looking and the price works for me. It’s made by Kurt Geiger London – very chic. You can always go for this Nancy Gonzalez if it works in your budget 🙂 . Remember the movie, “Working Girl” when she says, “It’s not even LEATHA!”. LOLOL. I love that.
