Boy to I LOOOOOOVE BLACK WATCH Plaid. Ever since my 4th grade year at Faith, Hope and Charity (Winnetka, IL) when it was a uniform suggestion – I’ve always LOVED it. In fact, I remember DISTINCTLY when we were getting uniforms, the whole school got to vote. They put up two different plaid skirts in a glass box on the wall of the main hallway and the BLACK WATCH won! I think they still wear it to this day 🙂 (Don’t worry FHC moms, these don’t have the little bit of white like the uniform, so you can still wear them :))
Anyhoo, these pants, the focus of the post, are super flattering and they are PERFECT for a casual Holiday Party. Hard to tell from my pic, but they are a cropped flare. I should have shown them from the side – oh well. I’m wearing them with red Choos and/or black Sam Edelmans and my FAV black cardigan (The GOOP knockoff). They would look reallllly cute with a white button down sleeves pushed up and collar popped, of course. I also can’t resist showing the “it” clutch of the season, as well as her “less expensive” sister-bag 🙂 Lastly – OSCAR tassel earrings….who doesn’t LOVE? I know I do! Wouldn’t get rid of those if you PAID me!
OH! Boulder Peeps – RUN to Sweep Balayage Bar! I’ve been a slave to the highlight foils for 25 years, so it was hard to take the plunge. I’m SO glad I did. Love.
