Do’s and Don’ts – Winter Coats & Dresses

Gals-

I’m not trying to be mean or anything, but which look would YOU rather have?

Savannah is cute and all, but Kate Middleton knows how to wear an overcoat.

To start, you need an overcoat that works for your climate. If I live in Texas, I might choose a light wool but if I live in Chicago, I may choose a slim puffer.

The key is to make SURE your coat is LONGER than your dress. Period. The. End.

Trust the Mother……you’ll be glad you did!

I’m a BIG fan of a camel coat, but black is a great staple for most people

I love how slim the fur lapel coat is and I’m obsessed with the faux fur that TIES to make it less bulky!

The J.Crew Coats are a GREAT example of having a knee-length dress under a coat.

BTW- Target x Sergio Hudson has the almost EXACT same coat as the purple above! Same designer but $70

Callin’ all my cold-weather gals! A long puffer is what YOU need 🙂
