You’ve seen me wearing clogs a TON. I happen to LOVE them. I got my first pair when I was about 10. They were navy leather that I thought were so cool. I was trying to copy my older sisters who wore navy suede clogs…..THEY were so cool. As soon as my little foot grew, I think I took over a pair of those hand-me-downs and wore them to death.
To me, clogs are like slippers or sandals. You just slide them on and off you go! They are also super flattering with most outfits – talk about elongating your legs! Don’t be scared-off that I’m talking about clogs as we head into Fall. Unless there is a foot of snow on the ground, clogs can be worn in any weather. You don’t ALWAYS need socks, ya know ;0
Anyhoo, it seems like EVERYONE is showing clogs and I’m glad to see it! I think everyone should join the party :). Veronica Beard is making a pair (below) that I have been DYING to get, but they sold out IMMEDIATELY. My go-to has always been by Loeffler Randall (below) or Rachel Comey (below). They are comfortable and they fall into the category of “most-complimented item” from my closet – ha! I will say, there are TONS of options at Anthro – and for great prices! See? Everyone is offering a clog this season 🙂
So, there you go. I say you try a pair. Elongate the legs, ladies….elongate the legs….
