I had never heard of having your “colors done” until about four years ago. Well, I guess I had heard about it, but I really did not know anyone who had ever had them done.
I was curious, so I reached out to Lindsey the founder of Created Colorful. With a staff of 22 consultants, Lindsey’s business is soaring! She’s got great energy and I figured she’d the perfect person to help me find the colors that work best on me.
Anyhoo, I went through the process of answering a questionnaire and sending in pictures of myself with different colors draped around my face. Lindsey and her team followed up a couple weeks later with a comprehensive report telling me I am a “Clear Spring”. Who knew?
I will say that since I had my colors done, shopping as been quick and easy! I’m now focusing on those colors that look best on me – the pure crayon colors like cobalt blue, hot pink, kelly green and canary yellow…just to name a few. I walked around Madewell and knew in an INSTANT that the colors they offer there (which are GREAT) are not suited for me. It was a quick in and out situation – perfection.
