I knew EXACTLY where I was going in this! We had to go to a Harry Potter theme party. I’m not a costume gal, (I actually can’t STAND to dress up) but since some of HP is set in the 1920’s I decided this dress would work. Hard to tell from the picture, but it has a 20’s look. I also told everyone I was dressed as JK Rowling 🙂
By now, you all know, or have known, that I like to buy some things “high” (classic, designer pieces) and I LOVE to buy things “low” (on sale or the knock-off). In this case, I splurged on the dress and wore it with shoes and jewelry that I already had in my closet. Those good ole Midwestern roots of mine remind me to keep it real – mix the high and the low ALWAYS.
So, this new CUTEST DRESS is by Rotate. This designer is from Copenhagen and she’s spot on with the midi dress and with special occasion dresses I ABSOLUTE LOVE IT!
If you know me, you know I am OBSESSED with a PUFF SLEEVE..OBSESSED.
Below are “high” and “low” accessories you can pair with this baby. Remember, always “Mixy-Matchy”.
Trust the Mother – you’ll be glad you did!
