You’ve heard me say it before, right? We use this ALL the time when making decisions in our home. Ask yourself out loud, “Is it a HELL YES?” If you can’t give an emphatic YES, then it’s a NO.
Does it always work? I think so…it’s your GUT talking. AND, if we are trying to have fewer, better items in our closet, then we REALLY have to ask that question, “Is it a HELL YES?” I’m telling you, if you hem and haw at ALL, then come on, it’s a NO. It happened to me in HS trying on a pair of pants. I was waffling – totally waffling. Thank goodness I walked out and didn’t buy them because I have never thought about them ONCE since I walked out of the shop.
If you’re in a store and you see “IT”, buy it. To quote one of our fav’s Love Actually, “If you feel it in your fingers, and feel it in your toes”…. then it’s its probably a Hell Yes. You’ll know when you are in person if it’s right. If you are online shopping and you see “IT”, maybe think about it for a day. Keep a tab open with the item and if you see yourself going back to it, then i’s say that’s a “HELL YES”. The bonus with online shopping is that you can order ANYTHING and EVERYTHING and then ask yourself the question when you are doing a fashion show in your own home. 🙂
Anyhoo, I’m still in summer mode, even though Fall is right around the corner. Everything below is a HELL YES and a bargain! ha!
