Long time, no chat! We went away last week and just got home. That time off was a much-needed break from filming myself in various articles of clothing :). HAHAHAHAHA.
Anyhoo, I’ve gotten a couple of people commenting about the portraits in the background of my videos. I decided to share the info about them because around that same time, Jean from JDaniel Portraiture & Fine Art, contacted me asking if I would talk about them on the blog. I was excited to share because Jean represented the artist who did ours all those years ago and she STILL represents him (and many others) today! How crazy is that?
Our kids sat (patiently) for the artist, Stephen, while he photographed their head and shoulders. We eventually chose a “pose” that we liked best and months later, the portraits arrived. We were SO excited and we STILL love them today. From what I understand, he also does these same head and shoulder portraits in pastels and those he does in a DAY. How that is possible, I don’t know. I can’t even draw a stick figure :).
