Ok, Ok……don’t mind the tv in the background NOR the adorable Pixie as the photobombing dog! I think my brother-in-law may have taken this picture – ’nuff said.
Anyhow, in the 1980’s my mom, (MIMI as she is known among her 24 grandchildren) had the GREATEST fur jacket made of MINK TAILS. (See Right) . It had a zipper and a collar that stood high. I SO loved that jacket as a kid. I thought she looked so GLAMOROUS with her blonde mink and her blonde hair. Sigh…..I tried to find a picture of her in it…..but no luck.
However… I did find this amazing FAUX that is VERY similar in COLOR, but it’s certainly not MINK 🙂 . I found it at ZARA (for a whopping $89 bucks!) and I practically tackled the employee as she loaded it on the rack. I LOVE it. I mean…….I REALLLLLLY love it. It fits well, has the cute stand-up collar and it’s SOOO SOFT. I’m wearing an XS and I can still get a sweater under it very easily.

To round out the outfit……below is an awesome sweater by Minnie Rose, AG jeans and my other go-to sneaker by Linea Paolo. These shoes make wearing skinny ANKLE jeans TOTALLY doable because they hit at the right spot. They also have a built-in wedge…..which…..well…..let’s be honest, they make your legs look longer. As you all know by now, that is the goal 🙂
Lastly, the bag…..I know, I know…..nothing fancy or new about the MZ Wallace bags. What I can say is that they are GREAT for travel, going to the gym – wherever! The real seller for me is the ZIPPPPPER – a MUST.
So, if you see me in this around town, I GUESSSSS you can call me Mimi – HA!
