Anyhoo, I’m doing it because I really have been cleaning out the house, the garage and now….my closet.
We should ALL be “spring cleaning” while we are home doing nothing. It feels SO great and it’s kinda liberating!
What I’m showing is what I do with my clients and that is usually a three hour process. I’m showing it here in about 12 minutes from my own closet so if you’re up for it, you can try it on your own!
Remember, when you clean out, you have a few choices:
1) Sell your luxury items on The RealReal. TRR gives the best prices and has 11 million members in 68 countries. That’s a lot of eyeballs searching the site.
2) Sell things like Vince, Theory, Joie etc at your local consignment store. Ours here in Boulder called Common Threads, is REALLY great. My clients have done really well recycling their items. Remember that one gal’s trash is another gal’s treasure!
3) DONATE!!! You can absolutely find programs in your area to donate clothes that are ACTUALLY going to good use. I’m not a fan of just dropping in some bin in the grocery store parking lot. You just don’t know where it’s going. I’m all about giving to programs where I know my items are being used and loved 🙂
4) Donate to the “There with Care” 2020 fundraiser “The Curated Closet”. They’ll be creating a “pop-up” shop in September where people can buy luxury items donated by people like YOU. All proceeds will go to the organization that aids families and children faced with critical illnesses. It’s awesome 🙂
Ok! There you have it! Get in your closet and GET RID!
