Are you a Mary or a Rhoda? Somedays, I’m Mary….and some days, I’m Rhoda. Depends on the mood, right?
Anyhow, a few months ago, my brother, Johnnie-o said, “You should do a post on Mary Tyler Moore. She was so cute.” She WAS so cute but particularly adorable in her show, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, wasn’t she?
What an awesome show. The fashion statement Mary made (Rhoda too!) was incredible. She was an independent, working woman in the 70’s wearing only the best and most fashionable outfits that inspired ladies all over the country.
I kinda wish I was an adult back then just so I could have worn those clothes – ha! There are for SURE a handful of 70’s wear in my closet from flared jeans to clogs to crochet tops – I love it ALL.
Anyhoo, let’s take a trip down memory lane and check out all the duds. Maybe we should all re-watch the series to remind us how much simpler life was back then….when people smiled one another and threw their hats in the air.
Trust the Mother….you’ll be glad you did!
