You know….. I can’t STAND to see pictures of myself. I really can’t. I’m not super photogenic and frankly, I just don’t like to pretend I’m a model ;0
BUUUUTTTT…..sometimes, when you see a pal in a dress or an outfit, I guess it makes it seem more real. So, I’m puttin’ myself out there and showing my actual self in these clothes.
The truth is….I don’t have the greatest shopping in the retail mecca of BOULDER 🙂. We have a handful of places, so it makes everyday shopping a challenge. I love to take a stroll around Anthro, H&M, and a few local boutiques. But, that’s really about all we have….oh and Nordy Rack, Jcrew Mercantile…you get my drift.
Here, I’m in two dresses. Found these at my local Anthropologie. The thing about daytime Fall dresses is that they have to be easy and they have to look great all while not making you freeze your patootie off. I think these two are pretty darn cute. The green one is a great color for fall and can be worn with a sneaker, an ankle boot, a flat or a knee-high boot. Throw on a denim jacket or a long sweater and you’ll be good to go!
This longer plaid dress is on the thinner side, but again, pair it with a tight or a high boot and your legs won’t free into popsicle sticks. Throw on a cool black blazer or cardi and belt it with the uber-classic GUCCI belt. I REALLLLY love it with a FUR VEST The short sleeves under the vest look so cool…..and cool at the same time 🙂
I know everybody and their brother has this Gucci belt, but ya know, it really is a classic. I don’t often wear it with pants, which is kinda funny. I think it really looks great higher on my waist with a jacket or a dress. Try it instead of the belt that comes with an item. It really makes it look so chic!
I dig the look of the over-sized DENIM JACKET. I also have some shorter and more fitted ones, which wouold work too. But, there is something more updated and youthful with this look.
I must admit….I’m a fur freak. This one is an easy rabbit vest that is REALLY soft. But, I’m also going to wear this dress with a black faux fur jacket or my brown mink vest. I can’t wait 🙂
