Baby Boy Bo graduated from 8th grade! It was the BEST. He just got his permit, so he drove the family to his parking lot graduation at Boulder Country Day. It was an absolutely amazing event – the best they could possibly do considering the situation.
We had a little FAM celebration right at home. I was of course dressed in my new FAV dress!
So, this dress……
I finally got a chance to go INTO A STORE! WOWZER! I was in Anthropologie and I scored this – worn it twice already and I LOOOOOVE it. I don’t look QUITE as cute in it as the model….but, oh well ;0 (It might be because of the mascara on my eyelid? Naaaahhhhh)
While I was in there, I came upon another great piece. Not something I would normally buy, but I put it on with light and white jeans and it was suuuuuuper cute on the bod.
Back to the actual graduation……
I wore the dress below, but I bought it last year on BIG TIME sale. I have NO idea why it is full price at the moment. What I will say, is that this is the BEST daytime dress – shower, luncheon, graduation….you know, something you USED to go to in your normal life. LOL. Go for this one though…..it’s a great fit.
Not that you have a youngster graduating…or maybe you do……
I gotta say that this suit from J.Crew has served both our boys very well. Bo wore his Bulldog tie (for all you FHC ladies!) and his regular loafers, but I can tell you right now that I’m ordering the shoes from Johnnie-O below! SOOO cool!!!
Well, there you have it. It was a COVID graduation and we survived. Pick up some of these duds, why don’t you?
