Hi Gals.
TBH, I haven’t done too much shopping lately. I’m still cleaning out ;0. But, I did walk by these shoes and I KNEW (remember, HELL YES) that I had to have them.
For me, like most everything, I don’t need the latest and the greatest. When it comes to sneakers, I’m DEFINITELY not a latest and greatest gal. For ONE, they cost too much and often, they aren’t even comfortable. I’m looking for the sneakers that I KNOW my friends will walk right past when they hit the shoe department. I don’t know – that’s just what I do. (Shrug shoulders emoji here). I like to find the CUTE, LESS EXPENSIVE, DIFFERENT shoes that, when I get a compliment, I can say, “You won’t believe who makes these” or “They’re a total bargain”.
Gotta say, I’m kinda that way with jewelry too. I have a great collection of really nice fine jewelry – things I’ll have forever. When it comes to the trendy “looks”, I just can’t bring myself to spend a fortune. I want to get the look, but I want it to be less expensive because when the trend goes by the wayside…..well I won’t feel bad when I leave it in the dust.
So, when you know…you know. I bought this dress, you may remember in tan/navy. Anthropologie is now offering it in a navy pint for Fall. It doesn’t look like much, and I said that about the tan one, but TRUST me, the fit is great and it makes for a cute Fall maxi. It’s light and easy and for whatever reason, it just works. The tan is AMAZING too, but they are running out of sizes….so whatevs.
